Temple Hill Traffic Stop Leads to Arrests and Searches

Good evening everyone,

You may have seen a large police presence in TEMPLE HILL last night due to a traffic stop that Dartford Neighbourhood Task Force had conducted. Turns out... it was well worth the stop.

This vehicle was registered to a company that was out of Kent. The vehicle was insured to a female but had a male driver. A plan was made, the team were coordinated in their approach and moved in. Unaware to the occupants of this vehicle, an unmarked car and two marked cars were closing in... fast.

The vehicle came to a stop and officers swooped in, preventing the vehicle from driving away and the occupants were detained for a search where 6 deal bags of suspected cannabis and some cash was located. Whilst this may not initially appear significant, it was only the beginning of the investigation.

Off to custody for the both of them and once booked in, searches were completed at their home addresses (After we eliminated the fake ones given!). 70 deal bags of cannabis were located along with more cash and a large amount of empty deal bags and scales!

One of the males arrested is already awaiting a court appearance in relation to a previous investigation concerning possession with intent to supply drugs. Officers from CID are now liaising with the CPS regarding this latest investigation.

This was a great result and a testament to the proactive work and teamwork demonstrated by everyone involved.

If you have concerns about drug dealing or other criminality in your area, please continue to report it to us. Information from the public remains invaluable, and we will continue to take positive action where issues are identified.

Take care,
DARTFORD NTF
